Typography is basically any effects added to you writing that makes it more attractive and creates a different yet metaphorical meaning!
The term typography is apllied to the style , arrangement and appearance of the letters , numbers , and symbols created by the process.
It is the art and technique of arranging type to make written language appealing when displayed .
Therefore the arrangement of type involves selecting typefaces , point sizes , line lengths , line spacing (leading) , and letter-spacing (tracking) and adjusting the space between letters.
